Perfect Parsnip Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 lb parsnips
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Peel and trim parsnips. Slice crosswise (separate narrow end from thick end). Quarter thick end, halve narrow end.

  2. Toss parsnips in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder.

  3. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 400F for 15 min, then turn. Bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
