Fresh Herbed Turkey breast

Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh tarragon, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 pound split turkey breast
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch

Directions

  1. Mix together the softened butter, sage, tarragon, garlic, pepper, and salt.

  2. Rub the butter mixture all over the turkey breast.

  3. Place the turkey breast in the Crock-Pot slow cooker.

  4. Cover; cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or until done.

  5. Remove the turkey breast from the stoneware.

  6. Turn the Crock-Pot slow cooker on HIGH and slowly whisk in the cornstarch into collected juices.

  7. When the sauce is thick and smooth, pour over the turkey breast.

  8. Slice to serve.
