Crunchy Apple Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup baking mix
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 medium apples
  • 1/2cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Brandy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Bisquick
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon brandy

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Grease an 8 × 8 pan

  3. Combine first 3 ingredients until crumbly

  4. Place 2/3 of this mixture into pan

  5. Top with 3 apples coarsely chopped and chopped walnuts

  6. Sprinkle butter over top

  7. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top

  8. Bake until golden brown

  9. For brandy sauce mix sugar and Bisquick

  10. in a pot.

  11. Stir in apple cider

  12. Stir in butter

  13. Heat to boiling.

  14. Boil and stir for 1 minute

  15. Remove from heat and stir in brandy

  16. Serve warm
