Easy Holiday Truffles

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • coatings

Directions

  1. Heat cream in 2 qt. saucepan, just until boiling

  2. Remove from heat

  3. Add chips and whisk just until melted and smooth

  4. Stir in vanilla

  5. Pour into medium bowl, cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm

  6. Line baking sheet with waxed paper

  7. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto baking sheet

  8. Freeze for 45 minutes

  9. Place coatings in separate bowls

  10. Form into balls and roll in coatings

  11. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours

  12. Store in airtight container for about a week
