Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • Frosting
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • vanilla
  • milk

Directions

  1. Mix powdered sugar, butter, egg, vanilla; stir in flour, baking soda, cream of tartar.

  2. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours.

  3. at oven to 375.

  4. Divide dough into halves and roll to 3/16 on floured board.

  5. Cut, put on un-greased cookie sheet for 7-8 minutes.
