Oatmeal Scotches

Serves 10 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup (2 sticks) Soft butter
  • 3/4 Cup of brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1 Orange rind
  • 3 Cups of oatmeal
  • 12 Butter scotch morsels

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon;set this aside

  3. In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract

  4. Gradually beat in the flour mixture

  5. Stir in oats and morsels

  6. Drop by measured tsp onto ungreased cookie sheets
