Kidney Bean and Rice

Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 package Yves Ground Round
  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Directions

  1. Saute onion in oil with ground round.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Add 1/2 cup water to the mixture.

  3. Add rice.

  4. Let simmer for 30 minutes.
