Crock Pot Stuffing

One 12 ounce bag of Pepperidge Farm breadcrumbs equals six cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 8 ounces of mushrooms
  • 12 - 13 cups of bread crumbs
  • 2 - 2 1/2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon pountry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Saute onions, celery, parsley, and mushrooms in a small about of butter.

  2. Pour over bread and add remaining ingredients.

  3. Place in crock pot.

  4. Cook on high for 45 minutes.

  5. Then turn temp down to low and cook for 4 -8 hours.
