Sabbakki Payasa

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Seemeakki/Sabbakki/Sago Pearls/Sabudana
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 or 11/2 Cups Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Few Cashew nuts
  • 1tsp Ghee/Clarified Butter

Directions

  1. Soak Seemeakki for 30 minutes. Cook Seemeakki with 4 cups of water for 10 minutes. Add Sugar and let it melt. Remove from fire. After 5 minutes, add Cardamom Powder, Cashew nuts and Milk and mix well. Serve either hot or cold.
