Dumplings

The best! Make sure the dumplings sit ON the soup. Always double!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 T oil

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add milk and oil and stir just until the dry ingredients are bound into a soft, batter-like dough.

  2. Bring soup to a boil, drop dumplings onto the surface.

  3. Cover again and simmer over low until set, about 12-15 minutes.
