- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 c white corn syrup
- 1 t vanilla
Combine in heavy saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring constantly to 230 degrees, or until soft and holding together in a soft ball water test.
Place on buttered plate and let cool. Pull until taffy consistency. Roll into a rope and cut into pieces.
Can also be used to dip apples while candy is hot.
