Pork Chops with Cranberries

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 thick pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fat for browning
  • 2 cups whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Salt and pepper chops to taste. Brown lightly in hot fat. Mix cranberry sauce with spices.
  2. Arrange browned chops in low baking dish and cover with cranberry sauce.
  3. Cover the pan tightly and bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until chops are very tender.
