Barbecued Deer Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 lbs. deer ribs
  • oil for frying
  • sauce:
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. chili powder

Directions

  1. Sift flour, paprika, salt, pepper; roll ribs in flour mixture. Fry ribs in oil until browned.
  2. For Sauce:

  3. Combine all ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil. Place ribs in a baking dish; pour sauce over ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
