Venison Manicotti

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. venison or beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. manicotti
  • 2 24-oz. jars spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh basil

Directions

  1. Brown venison and garlic in skillet. Add mayonnaise, cottage cheese and half of mozzarella; mix well and remove from heat.

  2. Prepare manicotti following package directions. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  3. Carefully stuff mixture into manicotti. Sprinkle with Parmesan, remaining mozzarella, oregano and basil.

  4. Cover with foil; bake 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes.
