Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups chopped apples
- Confectioners' sugar
Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream brown sugar and butter until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs and mix thoroughly. Add the salt, flour and baking powder and mix well. Stir in apples.

Transfer batter to a greased 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Bake 30 minutes or until done. Cool in pan, then dust with confectioners’ sugar.
