Southwest Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 4 tsp canola oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 beef flank steaks

Directions

  1. In a large Ziploc bag, combine the first 7 ingredients; add beef. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

  2. Drain and discard marinade. Lightly oil the grill rack. Grill the beef, covered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side.

  3. Let stand for 5 minutes; thinly slice across the grain.
