Currant Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dried currants
  • 1 Tbsp. of vinegar
  • 1 pie crust

Directions

  1. Mix egg, butter, sugar, currants and vinegar together. Use a cookie cutter to cut 2 or 3 inch shells out of a prepared crust.

  2. Line tart pans with crust. Divide filling evenly among tart shells. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

  3. makes about 12 mini-tarts.
