Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 8 0z. spaghetti
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (24 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups prepared red pasta sauce with meat
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup more parmesan

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Coat with 1 Tbsp. butter.

  2. Meanwhile, coat 9 × 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.

  3. Heat 3 cup (your choice) red pasta sauce with meat until bubbly. Spoon sauce over cheese. Top with 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup more parmesan cheese. Cover with nonstick foil.

  4. Bake 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake 15 more minutes or until cheese is lightly browned. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
