Cream Cheese Chicken

Total cooking time about 6 hours. May need to add cheese/soup later.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Place chicken breasts in crockpot, sprinkle dressing mix on top of chicken. Top with onion & mushrooms. Cook on low 3-1/2 to 4 hours. Chicken should be tender enough to shred with a fork.

  2. Add cream cheese and soup, finish cooking until cheese is melted and heated through.

  3. Serve over rice or penne pasta.
