So I have not personally made this recipe yet, although I have had the pleasure of trying it at my friends house and it is awesome. Very wholesome and good for you and tastes like a nice comforting soup.

You might need to buy:
  • Med onion; chopped
  • fresh mushrooms; sliced
  • carrot; chopped
  • cooked chicken; chopped
  • quick-cooking barley
  • fresh parsley; chopped
  • Tbs. olive oil
  • celery; chopped
  • garlic; minced
  • red potatoes; diced
  • chicken broth
  • butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

This is a good way to use your left over mash potatoes. The kids actually ate this too… although it’s not the healthiest so it wouldn’t be a regular in my home.. it’s a nice, lazy treat.

  • -2 egg
  • flour
  • pepper
  • garlic
  • sour cream

This recipe tasted really good and my girls were able to help me with it. We did put waaaay too much cheese in it though on accident (since they were helping ha).
