Candy Bar Fudge

  • 6 Snickers candy bars (2.07 oz each)
  • 3 c sugar
  • 3/4 c butter (do not substitute)
  • 2/3 c evaporated milk
  • 2 c (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmellow creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Line a 9 in square pan with foil

  2. Butter the foil and set pan aside

  3. Cut candy bars into 1/2 in slices; set aside

  4. In a heavy saucepan, bring sugar, butter and milk to a boil over medium heat

  5. Cook and stir until a candy thermometer reads 234 (soft ball stage), about 3 min

  6. Remove from the heat

  7. Stir in chocolate chips, marshmellow creme and vanilla until smooth

  8. Pour half into prepared pan

  9. Sprinkle with candy bar slices

  10. Top with remaining chocolate mixture and spread evenly

  11. Let stand at room temperature to cool

  12. Lift out of pan and remove foil

  13. Cut into squares
