Lemon-Herb Asparagus Crostini

  • 1/2 lb. asparagus, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • Pinch each of salt and red pepper flakes
  • Toasted baguette slices
  • Garlic clove, halved
  • Ricotta
  • Chopped chives


  1. Toss asparagus with lemon juice, chopped basil, olive oil, lemon zest, salt and red pepper flakes. Rub toasted baguette slices with garlic. Top with ricotta, the asparagus and chopped chives.
