- 1t salt
- 1t chinese five spice
- 1T red onion minced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1t oil
- 1T shaoxing wine (or dry cooking sherry)
- 1t sesame oil
- 8 chicken thighs (or 4 leg quarters)

Combine soy sauce, salt, onion, garlic, oil, wine,and sesame oil—set aside
