Chris’ Strawberry Fluff Pie

(from cokerlj’s recipe box)

Double this and make in a 13×9 pan. This recipe is from the lid of a cool whip container…oldest son requests it for his “Birthday Cake”.
I will double the recipe and make a graham crust in a 13×9 inch pan and put all the fluff filling into this. Cut into squares to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 3 ounce package strawberry jello
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 3 1/3 cups cool whip (I just use the container from store.)
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 10 inch graham crust

Directions

  1. Dissolve jello completely in boiling water stirring about 3 minutes.

  2. Add ice cubes and stir constantly until gelatin is thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Remove any unmelted ice.

  3. Using wire whisk, blend in thawed cool whip. Whip until smooth.

  4. Fold in sliced strawberries, spoon into pie crust and chill at least 2 hours…over night is best.

  5. Garnish with additional whole strawberries if desired.
