Use a 2 to 1 ratio. One part rice to two parts water.

Place rice into fine strainer and rinse for a couple minutes.

Bring salted water to boil. Add rinsed rice and bring back to boil, stirring to remove any lumps and clumps.

Place lid on pan. Reduce eat to a VERY LOW heat. Simmer slowly for 20 minutes. DO NOT PEEK OR OPEN LID.

After 20 minutes remove pan from heat and let sit another 5 minutes…RESIST THE URGE TO LOOK!!

After 5 minutes remove lid and fluff rice with fork.
