Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf bread
  • celery
  • onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2/3-3/4 box chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • butter

Directions

  1. Break bread into pieces

  2. Chop celery (about 2 stalks), onion, and garlic in mini chopper

  3. Mix beaten eggs with 2/3 box broth and mix-may need to add a little more broth- will be very, very moist

  4. Put in greased casserole with only about 1/2 of casserole filled with dressing mixture. As it bakes it will rise a large amount

  5. Put lots of butter pats into dressing

  6. Cover with lid over night

  7. Bake with lid 1 3/4 hours- removing lid last 15 or so minutes
