Pickled Beets

Ingredients

  • Beets
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 tsp. allspice

Directions

  1. Cook beets until tender.
  2. Boil sugar, water, vinegar, and allspice.
  3. Puts beets in hot sterile jars. Pour hot juice over and seal.
