Sausage Seasoning Mix

Great for pork or deer.

Ingredients

  • 50 pounds ground meat of your choice...deer, pork, beef, etc.
  • 1 cup kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup black pepper
  • 3/4 cup granulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated onion powder

Directions

  1. I wonder about adding other seasonings such as sage, oregano, cumin…for the flavor you desire. And probably use finely minced fresh garlic.

  2. Mix seasonings in with the meat. Pipe into casings.

  3. Smoke in your smoker.

  4. Freeze for future use.
