Pepper Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, grated
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, vinegar, water and salt together and pour it over the cabbage, pepper and carrot.

  2. Mix thoroughly.

  3. Tastes best if it can sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
