Peas and Sweetpepper Pasta

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. uncooked multi-grain spiral pastas
  • 2 small orange, yellow, red, and/or green peppers, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 can Del Monte sweet peas, drained
  • 1 Tbsp chopped basil OR 1/2 tsp dried basil

Directions

  1. Cook pasta. Drain.

  2. Meanwhile, cook and stir pepper strips in oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 mins.

  3. Stir in water, lemon juice, bouillon granules.

  4. Stir in pasta. Toss to coat.
