Herbed Crock Chicken with Couscous

Ingredients

  • 4.25 pounds chicken (any cut)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 16 ounces canned white beans, drained
  • 2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 10 ounces canned diced tomatoes, no salt added

Directions

  1. Trim the fat from the chicken and place in slow cooker.

  2. Combine the rest of the ingredients and add to the slow cooker.

  3. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.

  4. shred the meat and serve over couscous.
