Six-Can Slow Cooked Chili

This is SO fast, literally throw together in a matter of minutes. Put in the crockpot and it is ready when you come home.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. cornmeal
  • 1 t. Paprika
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 2-15 oz. chili without beans (canned)
  • 10 3/4 oz. French Onion Soup (canned)
  • 2-14 oz. Tomatoes, canned, drained, chopped
  • 15 oz. chili beans

Directions

  1. In 3 ½ or 4 qt. Crock Pot, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover; cook on high setting for 2-4 hours or until thoroughly heated. Or cover and cook on low setting for 8-9 hours. Yield: 8 (1 ½ c.) servings.

  2. Tip: for hotter chili flavor, 2 t. chili powder can be added.
