Chicken Vetelle

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cooked (reserve broth)
  • 4 T. butter
  • 4 T.flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/4-1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • spaghetti, cooked in broth
  • Mushrooms
  • Muenster, swiss or mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Cook until thick, then add velveeta cheese to sauce, stir until cheese melts. Cook spaghetti in chicken broth. In 9×13 pan, layer spaghetti, mushrooms, chicken pieces and sauce. Layer several times. Bake 30-40 minutes. Ten minutes before finished, sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven for the remainder of cooking time.
