Christmas tree cupcakes

Directions

  1. Bake cake batter inside waffle cones, lining the cones with parchment paper and standing them in holes cut into disposable foil roasting pan.

  2. When the cakes are ready, remove and discard the cones and parchment.

  3. Invert each tree cake into a mini cupcake, and cover it with cream cheese frosting using a pastry bag and star tip.

  4. Sprinkle with sanding sugar, and use a little extra to create beds of “snow” for serving.
