Tea Biscuits

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  2. Mix dry ingredients

  3. Cut butter in until pea sized

  4. Mix in milk, quickly in a depression in the middle

  5. Knead quickly, 8-10 folds

  6. Sprinkle flour on table

  7. Roll out lightly with a rolling pin

  8. Use a wide glass to cut out round biscuits

  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes

  10. Let cool for five minutes
