Easy Blueberry Tart

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 2 cups original Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 can 21 ounces blueberry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Mix Bisquick and sugar in medium bowl.

  3. Cut in margarine, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives, until mixture is crumbly.

  4. Press firmly on bottom and up side of ungreased tart pan with removable bottom, about 9 by 1 inch, or springform pan, 9 by 3 inches.

  5. Bake 12 to 15 minutes

  6. or until light brown; cool slightly.

  7. Remove side of pan.

  8. Cool crust completely, about 30 minutes.

  9. Mix pie filling, cranberries, and orange peel; spread evenly over crust.

  10. Cut into wedges.

  11. Store covered in refrigerator.
