Brownie Tart

Serves 6 people

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350

  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring to combine. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Turn the mixture into a greased 9 1/2 inch tart pan and bake for 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Garnish with fresh raspberries and whipped cream.
