Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Blue Bonnet 70% Sticks (quarters), softened
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Beat Blue Bonnet 70% Sticks/Quarters and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy.

  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.

  3. Mix flour and baking powder.

  4. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream.

  5. Beat at low speed until just blended after each addition.

  6. Stir in vanilla.

  7. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

  10. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.

  11. Serve with Reddi-Wip Whipped topping.
