shepherd’s pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz beef gravy
  • 10 oz frozen mixed veggies, thawed
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes, prepared
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. cook ground beef, drain grease

  2. stir in gravy and veggies, bring to boil

  3. reduce heat and simmer 8 min

  4. add salt and pepper to taste

  5. spoon potatoes onto beef mixture, forming 8 mounds

  6. top with cheese

  7. continue to simmer until potatoes are hot and cheese is melted

  8. serve immediately
