Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • onion soup mix
  • worcestershire sauce
  • Salsa or black beans
  • Frozen/canned corn
  • shredded monterey cheese
  • sour cream
  • onion
  • avocado
  • butter
  • hamburger buns (or tortillas)

Directions

  1. Combine 2 pounds of raw hamburger along with one package of onion soup mix. I also generally add a tablespoon of worchestershire sauce as well.

  2. Mix in beans, salsa, corn, cheese and form a large ball—and then flatten it with the palms of your hands. (It is actually easier to mix this together in a casserole dish rather than a large bowl.)

  3. Now take your finger and lightly score the meat into 8 equal sections. (Or smaller sections if you want more hamburgers.)

  4. To form the patties take a scored section and make a ball, and then, again, flatten it with the palm of your hand.

  5. Grill according to how well you like it done.

  6. Meanwhile, butter and toast buns (or warm tortillas)

  7. Top with sliced onion, sour cream, avocado, tomato, salsa (however you want it!)
