Rockin’ Round Roast

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown brown sugar
  • 4 red potatoes, sliced into quarters
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 3-4 pounds round roast

Directions

  1. Mix the flour, mustard, chili sauce, worchstershire, vinegar, and brown sugar in a small bowl

  2. Set aside

  3. Place the potatoes and onion on the bottom of the slow cooker

  4. Add the round roast, and then top with most of the mustard mixture, reserving about 3 tablespoons

  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or until meat and vegetables are cooked through

  6. When ready to serve, remove roast, slice, and place on individual plates

  7. Drizzle with reserved mustard mixture

  8. With a slotted spoon, remove remaining vegetables

  9. Serve immediately

  10. Makes 6-8 servings
