Improvised Bulgogi

The marinade might be a bit watery. Have to figure out what to do when adding all the moisture from the kiwi.

Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb good beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T rice vinegar
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 kiwi fruit, pureed
  • 5 T soy sauce
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T rice wine
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 0.25 t ginger, grated
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 t sesame oil
  • dash pepper
  • 1 T water

Directions

  1. Coat meat with 1 T sugar and rice vinegar

  2. Combine everything else (except onion) and blend.

  3. Pour over meat and onions and let marinade at least 1 hour

  4. Cook mixture in skillet until meat is done and sauce is reduced

  5. Serve over rice
