Italian Sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium ground pork or turkey
  • 1/2 lb each ground pork, ground beef
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf, finely crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp crushed fennel seed
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp thyme, cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Mix together well and refrigerate overnight to let the flavors settle in before cooking.
