Pancakes

Anna used to get these every Saturday.
OK to substitute milk for buttermilk, or 1 cup Milk 1 cup plain yogurt for buttermilk, but buttermilk is best.

Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 T sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Turn on griddle.

  2. Mix dry ingredients

  3. Mix wet ingredients

  4. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and stir gently to combine. Don’t stir too much or pancakes get tough.
