Campbell’s Autumn Beef Pot Roast au Jus

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peeled sweet potatoes cut in 1 1/4 inch chunks (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and each cut into 12 wedges
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell's Condensed Beef Broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 2 pounds boneless beef chuck roast

Directions

  1. Place sweet potatoes, onion, apples, broth and thyme in the Crock-pot slow cooker.

  2. Add roast.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours or until done.
