French Stuffed Potates

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/2 cup grated swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 large baking potates

Directions

  1. Brown together in a skillet the ground beef, green onion, and mushrooms. Add the salt and onion salt.

  2. Freeze the meat mixture in a freezer bag. Store the grated cheeses in a small bag and tape the smaller bag to the larger one. Store the potatoes until serving.

  3. en preparing to serve, thaw the meat mixture and cheeses. Preheat oven to 400. Bake the potates for one hr. When the potato is nearly done, heat the meat mixture ina small saucepan or skillet.

  4. Slice open the potates, break up potatoes with a fork, and spoon the meat mixture and cheese atop each potato. Return to the oven until cheese is melted.
