Ingredients

  • Round steak, thin cut (allow about 4 ounces per serving)
  • Bacon, sliced in thirds
  • Onion, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Cut round steak into pieces about 2 inches by 6 inches.

  2. Roll 1 slice bacon and 1 slice onion in each piece of round steak. Secure with toothpicks.

  3. Brown rolled meat in hot oil. Pour off excess oil.

  4. Mix cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups together with chicken broth (or water). Pour over rolls of meat and bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 350 (or in the crockpot).
