Sweet and Salty Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup each chopped red, yellow and organe pepper (I just use one instead of buying all three)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 1 can black beans- drained
  • 1 can corn - drained
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1 avocado chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro finely chopped (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup parsley finely chopped (fresh)
  • 1/2 (or to taste) cup honey
  • 8 oz marina sauce

Directions

  1. Mix together and serve with tortilla chips. It is a good blend of sweet and salty (and you get your veggies too).

  2. Note – if you are making this for a party, add another can of black beans, more tomato and pepper. I wouldn’t increase the herbs too much. And add honey to taste. Don’t go over 1 cup of honey as it adds way too many calories to it.
