Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or 2 cups medium white sauce with mushrooms, celery or other vegetable for flavor)
  • 8 oz noodles
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 can tuna
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. Boil the noodles according to package directions.

  3. In a saucepan, heat the soup, but only add 1/2 can of milk. Chop the celery & onion and add to the soup.

  4. Flake the tuna with a fork and add to the soup.

  5. Drain the noodles and put them in an ovenproof casserole dish, and stir in the soup mixture until noodles are well coated.

  6. Optionally sprinkle some shredded cheese on top (cheddar works well), and then top with bread crumbs.

  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until top is crispy and inside is bubbly.
