Fried Rice

Apologies to anyone else trying to follow this — it’s more of a general plan than a recipe.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4-6 cups cold cooked rice
  • 1/2 - 1 lb of cooked meat or tofu
  • 1-2 eggs
  • Various vegetables, sliced/chopped
  • Good choices include:
  • Carrots, Onions, Celery, Green Beans,
  • Bok Choy, Peapods
  • Soy sauce
  • Hot sauce
  • Garlic
  • Ginger

Directions

  1. In a large pan or wok over high heat, one at a time (removing previously cooked foods in between)

  2. Cook the meat

  3. Cook the eggs

  4. Stir fry the vegetables

  5. Add rice and sauces

  6. Add back in all pre-cooked foods and heat through.
